Medical Lab TechSalary Range:
$27 to $55The duties of this position are to provide testing support of incoming, in-process and final results of testing as well as performing QC for the lab.
These duties include:
Process all blood and body fluid samples Maintain applicable quality documentation Calibrate and maintain equipment as required to ensure that all equipment is capable of providing the measurements Reviewing documents prior to reporting results to proper recipients for accuracy and compliance to specified values determined by the procedure performed Communicating results, and all critical values in a timely manner to the health care worker Record keeping on all instruments Run controls and standards as instructed per instrument specifications Preferred High school or equivalent (Preferred) Phlebotomy:
1 year (Preferred) Medical Technologist (Preferred)
Qualifications:
At least 6-month experience in medical laboratory environment Ability to read and interpret laboratory results Knowledge of laboratory procedures Good problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task AAS degree or equivalent Recommended Skills Communication Medical Laboratory Multitasking Phlebotomy Problem Solving Medical Technologist Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
